2023 Year Review!!

*Late Post*

Hey y’all!  Can you believe we are the very end of 2023.  I simply can not believe how fast the year has gone.  I am not sure if if is because I lived life in the fast lane this or if the world is going fast. I mean I saw v Valentine’s Day  decor in Target yesterday.

What a year it has been!  As I sit and reflect over this year, the first word that comes to mind is interesting. If you don’t know, I am big on pictures and videos to capture memories. As I was looking through my camera roll, I must admit your girl had an eventful year!  I kicked the year off in New York City with my sister, cousin and sister in law. From there I was in the friendly skies every month, which is definitely on the bingo card for 2024!  I won’t say all the places we have curated for 2024. Just know I will be talking about it across my social media platforms when that time comes.  I attended a hodgepodge of concerts, road trips, food festivals, international travel and so much more!  So grateful to do everything and have an enjoyable time.

If I had to pick my best trip I think it would be my most recent trip for my sister’s birthday to Phoenix AZ. The vibe was everything and the food there is amazing!! Summer was a mix of good and not so good. I talked about loss in a previous blog post so I will keep it light here but….yeah.   I also relocated this year and that was such a transition for me. I went from a city girl to a small town girl. I’m kinda exaggerating, but not really. At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it, but I am appreciating the quietness and more space to decorate!

Work was probably one of my hardest in my career. The industry in general was so unexpected and unlike any other…WHEW!  Even thinking about it in this moment I can only shake my head.  Cheers to a better 2024!!

I learned a lot about Kristian this year.  I know what I want and what I don’t want!  I have been more vocal in sharing those things with the people that matter.  I am so much more confident in my “no” as being the answer.  I love me. I say it daily!  I have done a lot of inner work from therapy to reading, meditating, prayingggggg.  I talk to the big homie more than I talk to my own family.

I do think this year I let the rope go a little more than I have in the past 2 years and have been enjoying the journey of surrendering. When I look back over the year I can say that I am truly blessed and know there is so much to see and do in Krissy’ s World!  The last week of 2023 has been a week of reflecting and preparation for what’s to come. In 2024, I will keep going and live for ME.

A special thank you for subscribing and reading my blog posts!  I really appreciate it!

Happy New Year!

With Love,

Krissy
