Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself!

Hey y'all,

I have a few new subscribers and haven't always been the most transparent, so allow me to reintroduce myself. I'm sharing some very light-hearted information in order to give you a quick look into my world. Before I even jump into that I do want to say Happy New Year!! Thank you so much for being a supporter, whether it is just on my blog or Instagram as well! I appreciate all of the support. Even when y'all tell me, "girl that was a good post, but you have a grammatical error, LOL. The support does not go unnoticed. Ok, enough of the mushy stuff.

I am Kristian "Krissy" Hilliard and have been blogging for about three years now. My blog was born from me always giving advice to people. I advise family, friends, hell whoever listens. I wanted to create this cool little space where I share thoughts or opinions on certain things. I wanted to be able to come back to it later in life and see how I had grown. I am a full-time employee in corporate America so blogging is very much a passion project for me. I do not plan to leave corporate America but if it's God's will, then gladly!

Time for some fun facts.

I'm such a homebody.

I'm an ambivert. I enjoy being around people just as much as I like being alone.

I am a true girly girl.

I have a huge perfume collection.

I am big on self-care and also mental health- attend monthly therapy sessions.

I'm very family-oriented.

I am from a very small town we have two stoplights.

I now live in the Upstate of South Carolina.

I don't care for sweets.

I love sushi.

I'm a pescatarian.

I don't like cooking.

I cannot dance.

I love music.

I am an avid coffee drinker.

I am a Dunkin Donuts coffee drinker.

I'm a plant mom, but not a good one.

I binge watch Netflix and Hulu.

I watch YouTube every day.

I ask A LOT of questions during movies.

I prefer to buy actual books versus downloading them.

I also am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

I have a big heart for kids.

I am a member of the Junior League and the Urban League.

I'm in Toastmasters which helps with public speaking.

I make people laugh and sometimes it is unintentional.

I have a very strong spiritual faith. I am a firm believer in God

I like to do crossword puzzles.

I love to travel.

I am a wine snob.

I'm just going to put this out here, I haven't been super consistent with my blog. You can go back and look You don't see a post every month. That will change. I am manifesting that you will get two posts a month. Get ready for my thoughts on being black in corporate America and my thoughts on random things. This is my safe haven, my baby and I'm sensitive about my shit. I do enjoy sharing and being a resource for people who are interested in listening or reading. I am looking forward to pushing this blog, gaining some more traction, and providing meaningful content.
