Your girl just marked another major item off her bucket list, and honey, I am STILL floating on cloud nine! 💫

This past week, I decided to finally – and I mean FINALLY – check off “solo concert” from my bucket list and summer series goals. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of magical, terrifying, and absolutely life-changing all rolled into one spectacular Thursday night!

The Last-Minute Magic ✨

Okay, so picture this: I had been going back and forth about this solo concert idea for WEEKS. The main hesitation? Transportation from the venue and being out late by myself (a girl’s gotta stay vigilant, you know?). But last Thursday morning, something just clicked. I woke up and said, “Today is THE day. I’m going to see Beyoncé perform in Atlanta TONIGHT!”

Yes, you read that right – I literally booked my hotel room and purchased my ticket ALL before I even got on the road. Hours before the show! I kept thinking “Oh my goodness, what am I doing?!” But sometimes the best adventures happen when you stop overthinking and just GO FOR IT!

Universe, Thank You for the Alignment! 🙏

Now here’s where it gets absolutely divine – earlier that week, I was scrolling through Threads (as one does) and saw a girl talking about how much she had prepaid for parking, she was also going to the concert solo. There was this comment on her post suggesting she take the MARTA instead, and the commenter mentioned she was doing a happy hour right before the show.

Y’all, I shot my shot SO fast! I commented “I’m going solo as well!” and honestly didn’t think much of it. But then – plot twist – the girl responded about meeting up for happy hour and riding the MARTA to the stadium together! Talk about perfect alignment and the universe having your back! ✨

New Friends and Pre-Show Vibes 🥂

I ended up meeting these amazing girls at McCormick & Schmick’s, and OH MY GOSH, it felt like we had known each other for YEARS! The conversation flowed, the energy was immaculate, and suddenly I wasn’t nervous about going solo anymore – I was just excited to experience this incredible night!

We walked to the venue together, chatting and laughing like old friends, then parted ways to our respective seats. But those few hours of connection reminded me why stepping outside your comfort zone is so magical – you never know what beautiful surprises await!

The Show That Changed Everything 🎤👑

Ladies, I cannot even BEGIN to describe how absolutely phenomenal this concert was. It was hands down my favorite show EVER, and I’m still riding the high from that night! Beyoncé is exactly who she thinks she is – pure perfection, raw talent, and commanding presence all wrapped up in the most stunning performance I’ve ever witnessed.

The energy in that stadium was absolutely electric! I met so many incredible people that night – all from a simple smile or compliment on someone’s outfit. There’s something so beautiful about how music brings strangers together in the most genuine way.

I was dancing with my row mates (many experiencing their first concert or first time seeing Queen B perform live), singing every single word at the top of my lungs(most songs), and just completely losing myself in the moment. These are the memories that remind you why life is so incredibly beautiful!

The Comfort Zone is Overrated, Babe! 💃

I’m telling you right now – it is SO much fun on the other side of fear! Stepping outside of my comfort zone for this experience has left me feeling so empowered and alive. There’s something incredibly liberating about doing things that scare you a little bit, especially when they lead to such pure joy and unforgettable memories.

My advice to anyone reading this: GO TO A CONCERT ALONE! Seriously, do it! You’ll have the absolute best time, meet amazing people, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t wait for someone else to be available or interested – your dreams and bucket list items are worth pursuing right now, by yourself, for yourself!

The best adventures are often the ones we take ourselves on. Here’s to more spontaneous decisions, more stepping outside comfort zones, and more nights that remind us how absolutely incredible life can be! 🌟

Already planning my next solo adventure because I'm HOOKED on this feeling!

What’s on your bucket list that you’ve been putting off? Drop it in the comments – let’s manifest some magical experiences together! 💫

With Love,

Krissy
